A mercenary haunted by his sinister past...
Gregor MacLachlan has much to hide. Not only has he made a name for himself as a man with a sword for hire, but no one knows his true identity as that of the laird of MacLachlan's son. Banished from his home, Gregor has been content with his life, never relying on anyone or anything--until Fiona.
A powerful Druid priestess...
Fiona Sinclair depends on one person--herself. She learned early on that she was alone in this world, a world that took her sisters and her parents. Yet the call to Druids Glen is strong, and the man responsible for her parents' death stalks her. There is only one man who can get her safely to the glen, but can she afford the price Gregor asks when it means giving up both her freedom...and her heart? Publisher's Note Previously published elsewhere under the same title.

Grant spun a realistic well plotted tale, the druids, and the love that
blossomed between the two characters, along with their resistance to
acceptances of others."- Goddess Minx, Literary Nymphs Reviews

I have been reading a lot of Donna Grant lately, and I do enjoy escaping into another world, but after a while the characters all start to sound the same. One thing I have noticed in all the books I have read so far is that all the female characters lick their lips and all the male characters run a hand down their faces. And all the male characters have some awful secret, while the female characters are dealing with terrible insecurity or some other BS, after awhile all the mamby pamby indecision between them starts to get a little tedious. The editors need to learn how to proofread, I have actually started to highlight all of the errors I have been finding. None of this is stopping me from reading the rest of the series though, you sort of get hooked on the characters and want to see what happens next. I have actually read the next two books in the series since I finished this one, and I would still recommend them, even if the editing errors do seem to be getting worse as I progress.Product details

Highland Nights Druid Glen Book Two Druids Glen 2 edition by Donna Grant Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
I read the first book, got hooked on the series. I ended up purchasing all of the books in this series. The plus side is each story can be read without knowledge of the previous books. It's a typical boy meets girl kind of romance, with a twist. You have the three sisters, who must travel to new lands, and accept each other. Plus you have the men in the story who swear off women, only to find themselves enchanted with the heroins. I couldn't stop reading, I enjoyed the stories and plot lines immensely.
Another winner by author Donna Grant. In typical Donna Grant fashion, the right mix of character description, plot building, story development, and chemistry. Although familiar with her award winning Dragon series, I'm sorry I waited so long to read this one. A must read for current fans and those willing to take a ride on the Fae side.
After reading the first one I couldn't wait to read the second one but this book just didn't grab me like the first one did I actually couldn't wait for it to end but then just like that the last couple of chapters picked up again and had me begging for more. Don't know if I'll read the third one cause I don't want to be disappointed. On the other hand I don't want to leave the series unread! Decisions, Decisions.
Familiar characters abound in this second segment of the Druid Glen books. Tortured memories, misunderstood actions of the past, soul mates finding each other, sisters that were pulled apart decades ago.......all of this must work itself out before the prophecy comes true, and each person, whether Fae, Druid, or human must find their place in the puzzle or Scotland as well as the human race, as we know it, will end.
This book is wonderful for anybody who loves a rich, detailed, romantic, adventure! The characters are deep and well rounded, with great personalities, and their stories intertwine seamlessly! There was one problem with SPOILER ALERT In which the main heroine was able to heal her future father in laws stab wound, but later on had an enormous amount of trouble healing her mates wounds after he fell through a roof. That was a definite REALLY? (facepalm) moment...Otherwise, a great novel, as a standalone or in a series!
Excellent story of Fiona and Gregor. The pace is fast and exciting. You cannot put this book down because you want to know what is going to happen next.
You have to read the first book Highland Mist ( Druid Glen! Book One) to appreciate this book as you can then relate to the previous characters, namely Conall and Glenna. Both books are standalone books, however if you want to continue the saga you won't want to miss all the books in this series!
A good idea to buy all three books in this series at one go. Actually , there is also a fourth book in this series which is simply know as Druids Glen ( Lugus story, also an excellent read)
Never a dull moment with Donna Grants Druid Series
All of hem are well thought out. I really liked Gregor and his journey with Fiona. I have to say that Fiona annoyed me with her constant problem with abandonment. Not that the abandonment itself was the problem....it was her constantly bringing it up. It seemed a bit childish. The Overall story takes a darker turn and we finally learn who the "cloaked figure" or "evil one" really is and how he is involved in the prophecy. It I had been the author I would have done a prologue with the prophecy as the main gist, and a hint of what was to come. I like the epilogues as they finish each story in and of itself. Enjoy this hunky highland series!
